Linda Berkowitz creates and teaches art. She lives in Brooklyn, NY. Inspired by nature, she can often be seen painting outdoors in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Prospect Park. 

She teaches art at HANAC Harmony JVL Innovative Senior Center as well as assisting at the Brooklyn Museum, Gallery-Studio program,

 From a very young age she could be seen sitting happily by herself drawing and painting animals and trees and imaginary creatures.  In school she took art classes and was influenced by her High School Art teachers who brought in catalogues from MOMA and taught her about the Bauhaus. She began going to museums to see art being influenced by John Singer Sargent, Paul Klee, Calder. 

After graduating from Parsons School of Design she she wrote and illustrated children's books published by Crown Books for Young Readers.  Linda  then went on to work as a designer for textiles and home furnishings as well as creating art for ceramics and dinnerware,  

in 2017 she attended the Mudhouse Residency and and exhibited her prints in Agios Ioannis, Crete.  Her Art has been exhibited internationally.
